I have been a client of JBCM and its predecessor for many years. They admirably suit my needs as a busy barrister who lacks time – and to an extent inclination – properly to look after his own financial affairs.
I have been and am impressed at the technical expertise displayed, which combines well with a common-sense approach and the ability politely but firmly to ‘nag’ me, when needed! The investment recommendations made are invariably sensible and well-explained: importantly I have faith in their judgment. They have a good sense of my financial needs and aspirations. JBCM simplified my rather complex previous arrangements and manage the current arrangements with skill and expedition.
I have further been impressed by their willingness to devote time to assisting and advising my wife and myself when there is no obvious financial advantage to them. They also liaise well with other professionals, including my accountants – importantly without troubling me!
In short, they provide an efficient, skilled and prompt service, ideal for someone who needs a professional service and needs to trust in the ability of his advisers. Without their help, my financial affairs would be a mess; with it, those affairs are in good order.

I am a lawyer and have been a client of JBCM for 6 years. They are excellent at proactively managing my portfolio. I like the fact that I am included in the decision making process. Each year they ensure that I add the maximum to my pension portfolio and they manage it in accordance with the agreed strategy.
I have been impressed by their attention to detail when selecting investments. Richard and Paula have been particularly diligent in ensuring that the administration is smooth and the costs are clearly disclosed and are kept to a minimum.
